I happen to be in Ireland when the World Cup for rugby is on. Last night I saw part of a match between France and New Zealand. The pub had a screen about half the size of a movie theatre screen and everyone had their eyes glued to the screen. Since I don’t understand the nuances of the game, other then to get the ball to the other side, I was drafting off of the their enthusiasm. Today is a match between Ireland and Argentina and I’m sure the pub I was in last night is full of the same crowd. As I was leaving the door man told me that rugby is a “real” man’s sport, not like the football they play in America. Regardless real or not, everyone is cheering for IRELAND!
